Kristina Isola

Kristina Isola's plant-themed patterns play a prominent part in Marimekko's fabric collection. Isola says that she wonders at the life of plants; they may persist in the same place for hundreds of years – living, shrivelling and going peacefully to rest, utilising the nutrients that they themselves have produced, and so grow once again.
