A new company-owned Marimekko shop will be opened at Oeder Weg 29 in Frankfurt/Main, Germany, on 31 March 2006.

In the new, 150 m² shop, customers can see the whole unique, multifaceted Marimekko world under one roof: clothes, bags, interior textiles and accessories, classics and modern designs, displayed side by side in a beautiful and inspiring way. The shop, together with a new showroom, will also serve German retailers by offering them a better opportunity to get acquainted with Marimekko’s versatile product range and concept store idea.

Marimekko products have been available on the German market since the 1960s. In addition to the new company-owned store in Frankfurt, Marimekko has approximately 150 retailers in Germany. Worldwide there are about 1,000 Marimekko dealers.
