Autumn/Winter 2009/10

Marimekko’s bag collection for the autumn features both brand-new models and classics with a new look as well as an array of fascinating patterns and colours.

The ever-popular Olkalaukku, Matkuri and Mini-Peruskassi bags designed by Ristomatti Ratia are now also available in the striped Raide pattern by Annika Rimala. The same print appears on a new laptop bag model entitled Matkalla.

The prints in Mika Piirainen’s autumn collection include Maija and Kristina Isola’s summery Kukkatori and space-themed Nova as well as Aino-Maija Metsola’s Jäniksen vuosi design of rabbits. The Pioni bag with a wooden handle and the Otava duffel bag are examples of new, interesting bag models.
