Spring 2009

The designers of the new Marimekko spring collection have drawn inspiration for their fascinating, many-stranded patterns from Finland’s rich folklore, from the national epic Kalevala, and from life in a bustling city environment. The new patterns in the collection were designed by Sanna Annukka, Iiro A. Ahokas, Erja Hirvi, Maija LouekariAino-Maija Metsola and Teresa Moorhouse. In addition, the collection includes designs by Maija Isola, Kristina IsolaFujiwo Ishimoto and Harri Koskinen in new spring colourways.
