The next stop is New York Design Week

Visitors to New York Design Week will have the opportunity to be charmed by Marimekko’s unique spring prints at the HARDCORE New Finnish Design exhibition from 17 to 19 May 2008. The exhibition will be the centrepiece of the Design Week in New York’s Meatpacking District.

With its presence at New York Design Week, Marimekko continues its strong and highly differentiating appearances in the world’s design metropolises. This spring, Marimekko has displayed its products at nearly 20 international interior decoration or fashion events, most recently in Milan during the Furniture Fair in April.

The HARDCORE New Finnish Design exhibition will showcase 20 individual design projects and concepts from Finland, presented in collaboration with major Finnish design companies. The exhibition is organised by Design Forum Finland, the Consulate General of Finland in New York and the Finnish Cultural Institute in New York.
