Can I cancel my order?

No, unfortunately once an order is placed it is unable to be cancelled.  Once you have placed your order, it automatically proceeds to collection and delivery. You have 60 days to return any ordered items. Please see details in the Exchanges and Returns section.

How do I make a return?

Eligable online purchases can be returned by lodging a return request via our online portal. Please see the Exchanges and Returns section here.

Can I return my online purchase in a Marimekko store?

No, all products purchased via the online store, must be returned via the online store. Marimekko retails stores cannot process returns or exchanges for online orders. 

Does the return policy apply to all products?

The right to return applies to items that are unused and intact. This means that all product labels and tags must still be in place. The product must be in its original package. We do not offer returns of fabric as this is a cut-to-order product. Sale and outlet items are not eligable for return. All items purchased on sale / in our outlet sale are considered final sale and will not be eligible for return unless deemed faulty by the company. By purchasing a sale/outlet item you agree that the item cannot be returned. Shipping costs are non-refundable. All refunds exclude original shipping costs that you have paid to have the item(s) shipped to you. Unless the item is deemed faulty. Please see our returns section here

Can I return a sale item?

No, Sale and outlet items are considered final sale and will not be eligible for return unless deemed faulty by the company.  By purchasing a sale/outlet item you agree that the item cannot be returned. This includes exchanging for incorrect sizing. We recomend shopping sale items carefully to avoid disapointment. Am I eligible for a refund on items purchased during a promotion or with a discount code?

Full priced items discounted with a loyalty promotional code are still eligible for a refund and not classified as a sale item. Full priced items purchased as part of a promotional discount offer are also eligible for return and not considered an sale item.

I would like to exchange the product I bought for another one. What should I do?

Products purchased via our online store cannot be exchanged directly. If you wish to exchange the product using the online store, we kindly ask you to make a return and place a new separate order online for the item you want.

I purchased an item with a discount code/ during a promotional offer can I re use this code after I have returned an item to re-purchase the product at the same price?

No, unfortunately discount codes cannot be re-issued once used or if orders are returned. As our online store in unable to provide exchanges you will not receive the promotional price on your new order if the promotion has ended.

I have lodged an online return, when will I recieve my return label?

All return requests are manually reviewed and approved by our returns team. Our team endevours to respond to all pending return requests within 2 business days. Once your return has been reviewed for its eligabilty against our returns criteria our team will email you with your returns label if your purchase is eligable for return. 

How long does the returns process take?

Once your online return is sent back and received by Customer Care, the item(s) will be assessed to ensure it complies with our policy and a return outcome will be determined. You will be notified via email once your refund has been processed. Please allow sufficient time for your refund to process back to your original payment method.

If your item does not meet our return criteria (i.e. Tags have been removed) you will be contacted via our customer care team and the item will be shipped back to the customer. Please ensure that your item meets our return conditions here before submitting/ sending back your return. This may incur an additional charge for resending the parcel back to the customer.

Can I leave a package unclaimed if I wish to refuse it?

Leaving a package unclaimed is not sufficent to refuse a delivery. If a package remains unclaimed for 10 business days it will be returned to Marimekko by Australia Post. Once the package has been received by Marimekko our customer service team will contact you via email to arrange re delivery which may be at the customers expense. If the item is no longer required by the customer a refund less the delivery charge and a $10 return shipping fee will be processed. Please allow sufficient time for the refund to show in your account.

Items purchased via a stockist

Please kindly note that any retail partners, or stockists of Marimekko are separate entities and any return requests regarding purchases from one of our stockists are to be initiated between the customer and the original place of purchase.
