Fujiwo Ishimoto’s Lehmus (linden) is based on photographs the designer took in the yard of Marimekko house in Herttoniemi, Helsinki. Marimekko’s design studio had already gone digital, and Fujiwo wanted to challenge the technology with a photographic pattern.
