The Unessa (asleep) fabric print by Jenni Tuominen won Marimekko’s “Design, Meet the User!” competition in 2006. The more than two meters tall print original made an indelible effect on the jury – and later, all friends of Marimekko. In addition to the first prize, Jenni’s other works received three honorable mentions and a special award from the Kirsti Paakkanen Foundation. Jenni's works stood out for their freshness and originality.
