The Vattenblänk (glittering water) print, based on an abstract painting, depicts movement, streaming water and rays of light. The starting point for the collaboration between Marimekko and artist Astrid Sylwan was to retain the painterliness and energy of the original work, to create art for everyday surfaces without making compromises.
