Info
The Agnete dress is made of a cotton and linen blend in the Floretti pattern. The dress has a rounded shape, a rounded V-neck, and elbow-length kimono sleeves. There are pockets in the side panel seams and a central seam in the back. The A-line dress has a relaxed fit.

Our dresses are sewn using the whole width of the fabric, and therefore their appearance may vary slightly. Each item is unique.

Antti Kekin abstrakti Floretti-kuvio sai innoituksensa villisti kasvavasta köynnöskasvista. Paperileikkaustekniikalla toteutetussa kuosissa on vapaasti kehittyvä, ilmava rytmi – kuinka helppo luonnossa onkaan hengittää! Nimensä kuvio sai miekkailusta, sillä sen muodoista ja erilaisten elementtien vuorovaikutuksesta löytyy yhtäläisyyksiä myös vastakkain aseteltuihin miekkoihin.

Story of the print

Floretti

Antti Kekki’s abstract Floretti (fleuret) print was inspired by a wildly growing climbing plant. The pattern, executed using a paper cut technique, has a free-form, flowing rhythm – how easy it is to breathe in nature! The name of the print derives from fencing. Fleuret means a foil in French, because its shapes and the interaction of different elements also bear a resemblance to crossed foils.
