#VeryFinnishThing Campaign Prize Draw Rules

The Marimekko Instagram Campaign Prize Draw ("Campaign") runs from Wednesday 1 November 2017 9:00am till Sunday 17 December 2017 11:55pm throughout the participating countries (Australia, Finland, Sweden and United States (excluding certain states excluded in the Official Rules of the Campaign)).

During the Campaign a weekly Prize Draw will be organized on dates: 
November 13th
November 20th
November 27th 
December 4th 
December 11th
December 18th

One (1) prize winner from each Prize Draw will be awarded with a gift code to Marimekko webstore in the address www.marimekko.com 

OFFICIAL RULES OF THE CAMPAIGN

These Official Rules govern the Campaign, which takes place in the form of an Instagram campaign. By entering the Campaign, the entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules.

1. Organizer of the Campaign

The Campaign is organized by Marimekko Corporation, Puusepänkatu 4, 00880 Helsinki, Finland ("Marimekko"), tel. +358 9 758 71.

2. Duration of the Campaign

The Campaign begins on Wednesday 1 November 2017 at 9:00am and ends on Sunday 17 December 2017 at 11:55pm.

3. Who can participate

Entrants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry into the Campaign and legal residents of the participating countries stated above. Not open to residents of Rhode Island or Tennessee. Employees of Marimekko or its affiliates or partners or agents and members of their immediate families are not eligible to participate. Marimekko reserves the right to verify all eligibility. No purchase is required to enter the Campaign and a purchase will not increase chances of winning. Entries are void where prohibited.

4. How to participate

Eligible entrants can participate in the Campaign by publishing a public photograph or video in Instagram with identifying tags #VeryFinnishThing @marimekkodesignhouse during the campaign time.

5. The Prize Draw and prizes

One (1) prize winner will be drawn randomly by Marimekko weekly during the Campaign on dates: November 13th, 20th, 27th and on December 4th, 11th and 18th from among all eligible entries. Entrants need not be present to win. The odds of winning depend upon the number of entries received. The winners will be notified personally via Instagram on the day of the Prize Draw. The winner of the prize will be required to confirm acceptance of the prize within three (3) days from the date of the Instagram notification. If the prize winner cannot or will not accept the prize, or prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable, prize will be forfeited and a redraw shall be conducted immediately and the new winner will be notified via Instagram on the day of the redraw.

Prize: 50 Euro gift code to Marimekko webstore in the address www.marimekko.com (excluding Marimekko shops and webstores located within independent retail stores that carry non-Marimekko products in addition to Marimekko products and other stores excluded in the Official Rules of the Campaign ("Marimekko Stores"), as further specified in the Official Rules of the Campaign below).
All taxes on prize, if any, are the responsibility of the organizer of the prize draw. No substitution or transfer of a prize is permitted except at the sole discretion of Marimekko. No cash alternatives.

6. Personal data and publicity

The collection and handling of personal data is limited to the extent necessary for the delivery of the prizes of the Campaign and for such purpose the information submitted may be transferred within or between Marimekko and its affiliates and other third parties participating in arranging the Campaign, which may be located within or outside the European Economic Area. Personal data shall not be used for any other purposes. Personal data collected for the before mentioned purposes will be handled in accordance with Organizer´s privacy policy, located at https://www.marimekko.com/eu_en/customer-service-english#contact_customer_service. 
However, the winners of the Campaign agree that their photographs or videos may be published in Marimekko's communications and marketing channels globally (such as social media). Marimekko may at its discretion use the photographs or videos published by the entrants of the Campaign in Marimekko's communications and marketing channels globally without additional compensation to the winner(s). The entrant of the Campaign confirms that any persons appearing in the photographs or videos have given their consent to publish the photograph or the video and that no third party IP rights etc. are infringed.

7. Liability

Applicable to Australia:
Nothing in these Official Rules limits, excludes or modifies or purpots to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties under the Australian Securities and Investment Commission Act 2001 (Cth) or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia ("Non Excludable Guarantees"). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non Excludable Guarantees, 

Applicable to all territories:
Marimekko is not liable for any indirect damages or damages that the organiser could not reasonably have foreseen. Marimekko is not liable for damages caused by third parties or reasons not attributable to the organizer (such as interruption of the Campaign or damages attributable to a failure in network connections/communications). Marimekko accepts no responsibility whatsoever for damage or loss resulting from late, misdirected or incomplete entries, and by taking part in the Campaign the entrant warrants that all information submitted is true, current and complete at the time of submission. It is entrant's sole responsibility to ensure that entrant's (contact information) details are accurate. Marimekko accepts no responsibility for any changes which are not properly notified from the time of submission of the entrant's entry to the end date of the Campaign. The prize winner shall relieve Marimekko and all of the companies that participated in planning and implementing the Campaign from all responsibility relating to injury or damage arising from entering into the Campaign or from redeeming and using the prizes.
