The printed unbleached cotton panama fabric has a stain repellent acrylic finish on top. Thanks to this protective finish, the fabric is easily wiped clean with a damp cloth. The fabric is printed in Helsinki.
50% of the cotton used in this fabric is recycled.
Maija Louekari’s abstract Hyräily (humming) was hand-painted with a thick brush. This stripe-like pattern painted with a relaxed hand follows the rhythm of humming. According to the designer, the hand-painting accentuates the carefree beauty of everyday life – we don’t always have to have only straight lines and right angles.
