The Helsinki–Helsingfors pattern was intended to celebrate the Helsinki 1952 Summer Olympics. Designed by Per-Olof Nyström, the print displays many of Helsinki’s best-known landmarks, including the Old Market Hall, Helsinki Cathedral, Uspenski Cathedral, Kaisaniemi Botanic Garden and the restaurant Klippan.
