The Pikkuinen Matkuri shoulder bag is made of bonded cotton canvas with the Unikko pattern on the outside and a solid colour on the inside. The small bag has vachetta leather details, a zipper closure, and a leather shoulder strap that is detachable and adjustable. There is a pocket on the inside and a small handle and tiny pocket on the outside.
Marimekko’s famous poppy pattern Unikko was born in 1964 in a time when the design house’s collections featured mostly abstract prints. Designer Maija Isola wanted to create something interesting from this organic theme and designed an entire range of floral prints. Today, the iconic flower represents creativity.
