New collection, new prints

Marimekko's spring/summer 2017 ready-to-wear collection includes new styles and fresh, new prints. It's designed for women who have the courage to walk their own path.

The Juhanala and Henriikka patterns are designed by Paavo Halonen in 2016. They were inspired by a cascade of wild honeysuckle flowers growing by a small cottage at the designer's grandmother's place.

The narrow freehand Aita (fence) print is created by Annika Rimala already in 1963.

Keidas (oasis) print is designed by Annika Rimala in 1967. The designer was inspired by the youth culture of the latter half of the 1960s.
