The documentary short film delves into the mutual artistic inspiration between the visual artist Trine Søndergaard and Marimekko’s Creative Director Rebekka Bay.

The theme of Marimekko’s fall/winter 2022 collection is New Folk – New Traditions. Inspired by folk costumes and tailoring, the collection explores new traditions and new perspectives on dressing with a captivating play of prints, silhouettes, proportions, layers, and textures.

During Copenhagen Fashion Week, we invite you to experience a joint exhibition presenting Trine Søndergaard’s unique take on Marimekko textiles, alongside archival photographs by the artist.
