Marimekko's guide to Helsinki: Herttoniemi
00810 / Herttoniemi
The Herttoniemi suburb is mainly known for its industry but the area also has a closeknit community feel and is populated with plenty of young families. Marimekko's headquarters and outlet store as well as the Maritori café, run by restaurant Juuri, are located in the same building with our printing factory in Herttoniemi.
How to get there: The metro ride from Helsinki city centre takes 10 minutes. Herttoniemi can also be reached by a bus.
WHAT TO SEE & DO
The Marimekko outlet store is stocked with bargains. The lush gardens of the 18th century Herttoniemi Manor are worth a visit too.
