The Golden Unikko sweater — a hint of rebellion
Unikko (poppy) was born after Armi Ratia, Marimekko's founder, had announced that Marimekko would never print a flower pattern. The opinionated artist Maija Isola protested by creating an entire series of gorgeous floral prints in 1964. One of them was Unikko which today stands for creativity, strength, courage and faith in oneself. The iconic pattern is here to stay — this season cosiness comes in lustrous gold.
This shiny sweater is adorned with eye-catching gold Unikko pattern and it is made of cotton French terry. Wear the stunning Kerrie Sweatshirt long or short, in black or white and combine it with comfy accessories.
