Hakaniemi Market Square has always been 
a popular meeting point for locals. The market hall offers seasonal vegetables, fresh fish and other delicacies, and there is even a small Marimekko store upstairs. Many affordable restaurants and interesting ethnic stores

The picturesque Eläintarhanlahti Bay is great for walks. There are many theatres and playgrounds in the area too. 

How to get there: Many trams, buses and the metro stop by the Hakaniemi Market Square, which is also easy to reach by foot or bike from the city centre.
