For me, a long-lasting wardrobe is a synonym for something timeless. My goal is to build a wardrobe that will last over time. I try to buy only high-quality pieces that are in a classic design in tones that enchant each other. I try to make sure that new purchases match what I already have, and if I need something new, I try to find it second-hand.
I love finding pieces that have a silhouette that has become iconic over time, like the Marimekko A-lined dress favored by Jackie O. That sort of piece truly brings something extra to your everyday wardrobe! I always try to select pieces that I can see myself wearing for a long time. I can totally see myself still sporting all these Marimekko garments when I’m eighty.
