The keyword is comfy
For exceptional festivities
Our Fall/Winter 2020 collection was inspired by the Finnish lifestyle and wintertime activities – and resilient flowers blooming even in the snow.
This exceptional festive season, the keyword is comfy. It’s time to mix and match relaxed partywear with the softest of knits. Channeling stylish coziness, our bold florals are here in luscious silk, sateen and velvet.
Iconic patterns, metallic sheen
Be inspired by shimmering prints. The Piccolo pattern is now seen in one of the easiest attires of the season, and a large flower of the Unikko (poppy) pattern glistens in a knit made of metallic yarn and as a silver foil placement print.
The final touch
Add that final touch to your festive style with a beautiful leather bag.
This season, Milli Matkuri and Karla are each graced with a metal chain strap.
May we introduce Jäärouva, the Lady of the Cold, a new Aino-Maija Metsola pattern adorning this season’s most versatile pieces.
The designer was inspired by the idea of a simple color palette and sturdy shapes.
Welcome vibrant florals into your wardrobe.
The painterly Kesäheinä (summer grass) design by Aino-Maija Metsola was sketched in relaxed brushstrokes of gouache paints.
Opulent checks and a pop of red
Supercharge your style with opulent checks.
The 1983 Ostjakki (Khanty) pattern by Fujiwo Ishimoto was originally part of a collection entitled Iso karhu (Ursa Major), which was inspired by a book depicting the life of the Finno-Ugrian peoples as well as by textiles patterned using the traditional ikat dyeing technique.
Infused with a bold attitude
Add that touch of sporty chic to your closet with the season’s Marimekko accessories, turtleneck shirts, streamlined pants and warm knitwear, all infused with a bold attitude.
Chillier days ahead
Follow the Finns and perfect your winter style with a chunky coat. Our timeless and practical pieces tick all the boxes to bring joy year after year.
