Exchanges and returns
Products purchased via our online store cannot be exchanged directly. Instead, you will need to order the new product and return the original. If available, products bought online can also be exchanged in Marimekko stores. As product assortments vary between our stores, please contact the store directly and enquire about a possible exchange. Your online store delivery note acts as your receipt when visiting a Marimekko store. You can find contact information in the Marimekko store locator.
The Marimekko online store has a 30-day return policy. Unused and undamaged products bearing all original product identifiers and tags can be returned. We are unable to offer returns on cut-to-measure fabrics, products named or otherwise personalized for the customer, or undergarments and swimwear, if the protective sticker has been removed.
Marimekko offers free returns. The shipping fee will be refunded if all items included in the order are returned. Marimekko do not refund the gift packaging fee when returning the product. Please note that Marimekko will not reimburse any taxes, import customs, or fees paid to DHL when returning from Switzerland.
Please follow the instructions below if you wish to make a return:
Step 1. All customers: Fill in the online return form. In the non-EU countries: UK, Norway, or Switzerland, please also contact Marimekko’s return service: email@example.com. Include your order number and list the items you want to return in the message. We will then send you a return label.
Step 2. Include the Delivery Note (received in the original package) in the return package and mark which products you are returning.
Step 3. Pack the item(s) carefully. Use the original packaging if possible; fold any clothes neatly. Make sure to sufficiently protect all products. Please use a moderate amount of tape for securing the packages.
Step 4. Make the return according to the delivery method you have originally chosen. See below for more detailed instructions.
This is a label-free return. Click on the SMS link or go to your order in the Budbee app and click on the “book return” button. Choose if you want the parcel to be collected at your doorstep or if you want to return it in a Box.
If you choose Box, you will get a pin code and you have 2 hours to get to the location to leave the parcel. If you do not make a return within 2h, you can book a new time slot.
When you book a pick-up time, choose if you want to hand it over in person or want it collected at your doorstep.
Use the DHL return label included in your package and attach it on top of the package. Make sure it covers all original address information.
You can easily drop your return off at a DHL service point or schedule a pickup. Find the nearest DHL Service Point with http://locator.dhl.com. By entering your location, it will return the closest DHL branded Service Points. Or you can schedule a pickup online, using the return waybill https://mydhl.express.dhl/. Select Location, Schedule a Pickup (I already have a shipping label attached to my package) and enter the Return Waybill Number.
Once your return has arrived and been processed at Marimekko, we will issue a refund to your original payment method in the amount of the purchase price. You will also be notified by email.
A special note regarding the ”buy four (4), get the least expensive item for free” campaigns: The discount will match the value of the cheapest item and will be shown in your cart. If you wish to return any of the campaign products, the amount of your order will be recalculated using the products you choose to keep. This means that the refunded amount may not necessarily correspond to the amount initially charged for the ordered products. If, after returning a product, the order no longer entitles you to a discount, the value of the original discount will be deducted from the refund amount.
