Maisema

1982

Fujiwo Ishimoto’s Maisema (landscape) plays with tones and resembles a crayon drawing. It was originally created by drawing with a charcoal on a sheet of silk paper on a rough surface. Fujiwo applied the same technique later in 1991 in the Lepo (rest) print. Maisema has been made in dozens of different color combinations.
