Maija Isola liked to paint her patterns on a large scale. One of her methods was to lay a long piece of paper on the printing table, play some music, walk bare foot on the paper and paint with a big brush. Painting was like dancing to her. In the geometric Rammari (grammy) print, a record player has taken the leading role.
