The Kuultava shirt dress is made of cotton poplin in the Taivaankukat pattern. The dress has a button closure in the front, side seam pockets and wide cuffs with button slits at the sleeve ends.
The Taivaankukat pattern was designed by Maija Isola in 1970. Nature was a significant source of inspiration for Maija Isola throughout her career and flowers in different styles was a motif that frequently appeared in her designs. The delicate Taivaankukat (sky flowers) pattern suggests tiny flowers twinkling in the night sky like stars.
