Kalasääski

The Kalasääski pattern ready-made curtain is made of unbleached cotton, which is printed in Helsinki. The curtain features a curtain tape at the top edge, which makes it easy to hang either on a curtain rod or with hanger clips from a curtain rail. The curtain tape also helps with gathering the curtain as desired. Small variation may appear between products.

Stripes have always been an integral part of the world of Marimekko patterns. Kalasääski (osprey), a vivid freehand pattern of vertical and diagonal stripes, is one of the innumerable striped designs created for Marimekko by Maija Isola.
