Return policy

Marimekko US provides a 30-day return window from the delivery date for eligible items purchased through Marimekko.com or Marimekko-owned stores in the United States. If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within this timeframe for a refund of the item’s purchase price. Please note that shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.

Important notes

We cannot accept returns or exchanges for Marimekko items purchased through other retailers or abroad. This includes purchases made outside the United States or through third-party merchants.

Each return must be shipped using the corresponding return shipping label provided with your order.

Returned items must be unused, undamaged, and include all original product identifiers and hangtags.

Fabric orders that are cut to order are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Bedding sets must be returned in their original, undamaged bags.

Items discounted by 40% or more or marked as FINAL SALE cannot be returned or exchanged. No exceptions.

Proof of purchase is required for all returns. For in-store returns, please provide your order number or receipt.

Exchanges

We are unable to process exchanges online. If you need a different size or color, please return the product and place a new order. If your order was received as a gift, please contact customer service.

Depending on availability, Marimekko’s official stores can assist with in-store exchanges. Online returns may also be processed at Marimekko-owned stores, except for orders placed using PayPal or Klarna, which must be returned online. Additionally, stores can process returns for gift cards.

Return instructions

To submit a return, locate your order in your account or click HERE to use the guest form.

Select the item(s) you are returning as well as the reason for the return.Submit the form.

The pre-paid shipping label should be included in the box with each order. If the label is misplaced, please contact usa.customerservice@marimekko.com to request a new label.

Refunds are processed within 10 business days of receipt, and a$10 return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund. 

If you prefer to use your own carrier to avoid the return shipping fee, please use a trackable and insured shipping method. Please notify us at usa.customerservice@marimekko.com of the new return tracking number and provide your original order number.

Please keep a tracking number for your records. Marimekko is not responsible for shipping fees charged by your selected carrier or for lost returns. Marimekko is not responsible for processing returns without a tracking number. Please make sure to enclose your packing slip or your order number with your return. Items that do not meet our return policy criteria may be returned to the sender without a refund.
