Shirt
The Hanki overshirt has an oversized, straight fit, and it features the Daily Variations pattern, which is printed in Helsinki. The lightly padded overshirt is quilted, and it has a pointed collar, a snap button closure, and side seam pockets. The cuffed sleeves have slits and snap button closures.
The main material of this product is made of 100% organic cotton. The padding and lining are made of 100% polyester.
Our overshirts are cut using the whole width of the fabric, and therefore their appearance may vary. Each item is unique.
The product is part of a special collection designed for Marimekko by Rolf Ekroth, one of Finland’s most internationally acclaimed new-generation fashion designers.
Part of Marimekko´s Artist in Residence program, Danish textile artist Vibeke Rohland focuses on removing the superfluous to reveal the essence of form, color and contrast. The Daily variations design delves into the soul of color and stripe by exploring how hues interact,
challenge and complement one another. The work captures the shifting moods of a day: its rhythms, sounds and everchanging light.
