    Maija Isola, 1957

    Maija Isola designed the Putkinotko fabric in 1957 as part of the Luonto series, in which real plants were used to create photogram-like prints. Putkinotko features wild angelica whose leaves have already withered away, leaving behind the stalk and the semi-spherical seed heads.

     The versatile cotton bag features the Putkinotko pattern. The lightweight bag is easy to tuck into another bag so that it is always with you. Printed in Helsinki.
