RWS Sopimus Unikko

The Sopimus turtleneck has a slim, straight fit. The Unikko pattern turtleneck is made with the intarsia knitting method, which gives the knit a lively surface. It has a high ribbed mock turtleneck, long slim sleeves, and wide ribbing at the sleeve ends and hemline.

This product is made of a merino wool blend containing certified merino wool and polyamide. The product contains RWS certified wool, Certified by Control Union 898864. The Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) describes and certifies animal welfare and land management practices in wool production and tracks the certified material from farm to final product. The wool can be traced to farms that implement regenerative principles.

Marimekko’s famous pattern Unikko was born in 1964 in a time when the design house’s collections featured mostly abstract prints. Designer Maija Isola wanted to create something interesting from this organic theme and designed an entire range of floral prints. Today, the iconic flower represents creativity.
