RWS Unikko

This beautiful wool and cotton blend blanket with fringes at the ends is sure to keep you warm. Decorated with the black and white Unikko pattern, the blanket has two different sides, with the backside being a clever color negative of the front. Products woven with the jacquard technique may vary slightly in size.

This product contains 60% certified wool and 40% organic cotton. The product contains RWS certified wool, Certified by Control Union 898864. The Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) describes and certifies animal welfare and land management practices in wool production and tracks the certified material from farm to final product.

Marimekko's famous pattern Unikko was born in 1964 in a time when the design house's collections featured mostly abstract prints. Designer Maija Isola wanted to create something interesting from this organic theme and designed an entire range of floral prints. Today, the iconic flower represents creativity.
