    Maija Isola, 1959

The Pampula (bobble) pattern is one of Maija Isola’s graphic 1950s designs. Maija’s artwork covers an amazingly wide range of motifs and design techniques. She drew inspiration from traditional folk art and modern visual art alike, from nature and her countless trips around the world.

The Viivain Iso Pampula cotton dress encapsulates Marimekko´s signature blend of bold prints and relaxed silhouettes. The relaxed fit and A-line silhouette offer comfortness. The dress has buttoning at front, a classic collared neckline, long sleeves, and a detachable belt that cinches the waist, allowing for a customizable fit. A dress has pockets also.

Iso Pampula is a variation of Maija Isola´s Pampula pattern. The Pampula (bobble) pattern is one of Maija Isola’s graphic 1950s designs.
