Loisto Vihkiruusu Placement

The Loisto sweatshirt is made of organic cotton French terry, and it has a straight, unisex fit. The sweatshirt features the large printed Vihkiruusu pattern flower in the front. It has a ribbed O-neck and wide ribbing at the sleeve ends and hemline.

This product’s unique appearance is the result of dip dyeing technique which gives every product their own unique look. Some differences will appear between products.

Vihkiruusu (wedding rose) was born in a time when hardly any floral designs were included in Marimekko’s collections. Maija Isola, however, was fascinated by the theme of flowers and decided to create an entire range of novel floral prints. The iconic Unikko was one of the designs in that range along with Vihkiruusu.
