Marimekko & friends brings rotating live artists and seasonal style inspiration to downtown Helsinki, with a few surprises along the way.
The best things are shared with friends. Our new event series gathers people around music, fashion and interiors. The window of our Esplanade flagship becomes a live stage for some of the most exciting artists right now, while Aleksinkulma sets the scene for masterclasses and inspiring style talks. Something new is in the air, you won’t want to miss it.

Marimekko & friends arrives in the city on Saturday, March 7. Our first friends to take the stage are Karri Koira and Maria Veitola. See the day’s program below and join the fun.
13.00 Karri Koira, Marimekko Esplanadi (Pohjoisesplanadi 33)
Known for his energetic live shows, Karri Koira performs in the window of our Esplanadi store.
14.00 Maria Veitola, Marimekko Aleksinkulma (Aleksanterinkatu 50)
At Aleksinkulma, enjoy conversations and style tips led by the ever-lovely Maria Veitola.
Perso Soda will serve refreshments for the first 100 guests at both locations.
A rare treat is on the way. We’ve created a limited special edition of our logo tote celebrating some of our hometowns in Finland. Helsinki, Turku, Tampere and Oulu each get their own version. Available in stores only, on select days only, in limited quantities.
