Hello Le Marais, meet your new neighbor. We’re Marimekko, a Finnish design house founded in 1951. We’re bringing our iconic prints and bold colors to the City of Light. The grand opening of our first-ever flagship store in Paris takes place on Friday, October 24, 2025.

Our lifelong mission is to bring color and joy into lives and homes everywhere and encourage people to be happy as they are.
The journey began in 1951 with a simple dress in captivating prints. A bold and carefree celebration of individuality, the Marimekko dress became an instant classic. Over the years, Marimekko designers have created some 3,500 print designs.
