Vihkiruusu

The unbleached cotton bag is easy to tuck into another bag so that it is always with you. Printed in Helsinki. Our tote bags are cut using the whole width of the fabric, and therefore their appearance may vary slightly. Each item is unique.

The cotton used in this product is 50% organic and 50% is recycled cotton. Unbleached fabrics, as well as fabrics containing recycled fibers, have a natural lively color and surface where small different colored areas may appear. There may be differences between products regarding this feature.

Vihkiruusu was born in a time when hardly any floral designs were included in Marimekko’s collections. Maija Isola, however, was fascinated by the theme of flowers and decided to create an entire range of novel floral prints. The iconic Unikko was one of the designs in that range along with Vihkiruusu.
