Randi Koppelo

The Randi dress is made of heavyweight cotton jersey in the Koppelo pattern. The dress has side seam pockets, cropped sleeves, and a central back seam with a slit at the hemline. The straight dress has a relaxed fit.

In 1961, Maija Isola spent many evenings and nights working in Marimekko’s print factory – painting in gentle, sweeping brushstrokes to the sway of music. Meter upon meter of new patterns emerged. On one of those nights, Koppelo (hen capercaillie), a pattern of stylized natural forms, saw daylight.
