Cotton shirt
The Innota button-up shirt has a very fitted cut. The shirt features the Unikko pattern, and it has a button closure, a yoke seam in the back and a rounded hem. The sleeves are long and slim, and they have pleats, slits, and button closures at the cuffs. The bust darts and the back waist darts give the shirt a more fitting shape.
This product is made of a cotton and elastane blend, which contains 97% organic cotton and 3% elastane.
Our shirts are cut using the whole width of the fabric, and therefore their appearance may vary slightly. Each item is unique.
In 1953, the very year she joined Marimekko, Vuokko Eskolin-Nurmesniemi created Piccolo, a striped fabric pattern painted with vivid brushstrokes. Three years later, the Jokapoika (every boy) shirt made from the fabric appeared in stores and the streets – for good, it seems.
