The worn indigo Maridenim Poweri jean jacket is made of non-stretch cotton denim. The jacket has a relaxed fit, a shirt collar, a button closure, and one chest pocket featuring the embroidered Unikko flower. The jacket has flap patch pockets in the front and it features Marimekko jean buttons.
The jacket is made of cotton denim, which contains 80% organic cotton and 20% recycled cotton.
Marimekko Maridenim products are designed following the Jeans Redesign guidelines of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, world´s leading network on circular economy. According to the guidelines, the denim material is monomaterial cotton (80% organic cotton and 20% recycled cotton) with no elastane. Marimekko Maridenim is made with minimal use of hardware, including the use of removable buttons and no rivets. The washing, finishing and use of chemicals also follow the guidelines. To produce the colours, patterns and desired feel of the products, we use, for example, laser technology, E-Flow steam washing and ozone washing, instead of, for example, traditional stone washing.
Maridenim products have a special finishing and patina which gives each piece a unique, distinctive character. This feature is part of the charm and appeal of Maridenim products.
