Vuoren Kasvit

This woven art fabric features the Vuoren Kasvit pattern, which is printed in Helsinki. The edges of the fabric are finished with a picot edge.

The art fabric is made of linen.

While living in the Appalachian Mountains in North America, Maija Isola took long walks and brought back with her big plants which she used as subjects for both paintings and fabric patterns. The delicate, naturalistic Vuoren kasvit (mountain plants) was created in 1979.
