Putkinotko

The Putkinotko pattern cotton sateen pillow cover is printed in Helsinki. The cover has a zipper on one side.

The cover is made of 100% organic cotton sateen. Pillow cover measures 20 in x 20 in.

Our pillow covers are sewn using the whole width of the fabric, and therefore their appearance may vary. Each item is unique.

Maija Isola designed the Putkinotko (title of a classic Finnish novel) fabric in 1957 as part of the Luonto (nature) series, in which real plants were used to create photogram-like prints. Putkinotko features wild angelica whose leaves have already withered away, leaving behind the stalk and the semi-spherical seed heads.
