This acrylic-coated cotton fabric features the Putkinotko pattern, which is printed in Helsinki. Thanks to the protective finish, the fabric is easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth.

Fabric is 100% organic cotton.

Maija Isola designed the Putkinotko (title of a classic Finnish novel) fabric in 1957 as part of the Luonto (nature) series, in which real plants were used to create photogram-like prints. Putkinotko features wild angelica whose leaves have already withered away, leaving behind the stalk and the semi-spherical seed heads.
