Giving your Marimekko pieces a new life just got even easier! Bring your second-hand and vintage Marimekko items to our Helsinki Forum, Tampere Hämeenkatu, Turku city center, Jyväskylä city center and Joensuu store and we will exchange them for a gift card that can be used in Marimekko stores and marimekko.com. 

We take back Marimekko clothing, accessories, bags, and selected homeware. After the exchange, your items will be sold by Marimekko in the Pre-loved marketplace and pop-ups.

What items we accept?

We accept all Marimekko clothing, accessories, bags, and selected homeware (find the full list below). Collaboration items are excluded. All items must be clean and in good condition. We do not accept items that have major rips, stains, missing/broken buttons and zippers or hygiene sensitive products like socks, swimwear, and underwear.

What happens to my items?

After the exchange, your items will be sold by Marimekko in the Pre-loved service and pop-ups.

How can I use the gift card?

The gift card is valid for 12 months and can be used in Marimekko stores and marimekko.com in Finland. The gift card cannot be exchanged for money.

What is the value of my items?

Your items are evaluated by condition and product category. Marimekko employee goes carefully through the items you wish to exchange and issues a gift card according to the value specified in the price and condition chart.

Marimekko Pre-loved gift card price and condition instructions

Condition categories:

Condition A – New with tags. Original sales tag/package included.

Condition B – The item has been in use but is in good condition. No major rips, fading, broken seams, buttons, or zippers.

Condition C -The item has multiple visible signs of use, or the item has been altered.
