Pikkuinen Unikko

The Pikkuinen Unikko pattern kitchen textile set is printed in Helsinki and it includes one tea towel and two oven mittens. The tea towel has a hanging loop on the long edge. The oven mittens have padded fillings and hanging loops.

The products are made of an unbleached cotton and linen blend, which contains 46% recycled cotton and 21% recycled linen. 50% of the polyester used in the oven mitten filling is recycled.

Unbleached fabrics, as well as fabrics containing recycled fibers, have a natural lively color and surface where small different colored areas may appear. There may be differences between products regarding this feature.

Unikko, symbolizing creativity, was born in a time when hardly any floral designs were included in Marimekko’s collections. Maija Isola, however, was fascinated by the theme of flowers and decided to create an entire range of novel floral prints.
