Sportti Unikko

The Sportti knitted pullover has a slim, straight fit and it features the Unikko pattern. The pullover has a polo collar, a short button list in the front, and ribbing at the sleeve ends and hemline.

This product is made of a wool and cotton blend, which contains 56% certified wool, 38% organic cotton, and 6% polyamide. The product contains RWS certified wool, Certified by Control Union 898864. The Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) describes and certifies animal welfare and land management practices in wool production and tracks the certified material from farm to final product. In addition, the wool can be traced to farms that implement regenerative principles.

Marimekko’s famous pattern Unikko was born in 1964 in a time when the design house’s collections featured mostly abstract prints. Designer Maija Isola wanted to create something interesting from this organic theme and designed an entire range of floral prints. Today, the iconic flower represents creativity.
