The Maaria button-up shirt has a slim, straight fit and it features the Tumma pattern, which is printed in Helsinki. It has a pointed collar, a button closure, and patch chest pockets. The shirt has a yoke seam and a pleat in the back and the long sleeves have wide turn-ups at the cuffs.

The shirt is made of cotton twill, which contains 96% organic cotton and 4% elastane.

Maija Isola was greatly inspired by her countless travels around the world. In 1970, she created the bold floral pattern Tumma (dark) as a souvenir of her long trip to Paris.
