Oiva / Seireeni

mugs, set of 2

This set features two Oiva mugs made of brown stoneware. The mugs feature different coloured Seireeni patterns and they are dishwasher, oven, microwave, and freezer safe. The set is packed in a gift package.

Please remove the sticker from the bottom of the product before use. The sticker contains a small amount of metal.

While traveling in Greece in the early 1960s, Maija Isola got inspired by the movement of water and depicted it in several fabric prints, including Seireeni (siren) from 1964. Named after the mythological sirens, the pattern also recalls the enchanting singing that lured sailors into dangerous waters.
