Keidas

Annika Rimala, 1967

Especially in the latter half of the 1960s, Annika Rimala drew inspiration from the youth culture of the time. Keidas is very representative of the rhythmic patterns she designed in those years.

The Essee coat has a relaxed, straight fit and it features the Keidas pattern. The coat has a corduroy collar with a buttoned throat latch, a button closure, and a zipper with a ribbon puller under the front list. The raglan sleeves have button tabs at the cuffs and the coat has a central back seam and list pockets. The coat is lined and there is one corduroy patch pocket on the inside.

The main material of this product is made of firm 100% organic cotton with a water-resistant treatment.

Our coats are cut using the whole width of the fabric, and therefore their appearance may vary slightly. Each item is unique.

Especially in the latter half of the 1960s, Annika Rimala drew inspiration from the youth culture of the time. Keidas (oasis) is very representative of the rhythmic patterns she designed in those years.
