This set includes two Unikko flower shaped and two Kivet pattern shaped chopstick holders. We recommend washing these products by hand. The holders feature debossed Marimekko logos on the bottoms.

The chopstick holders are made of ceramic with different colored glazes.

The set is packed in the Marimekko Logo pattern box.

Unikko, symbolizing creativity, was born in a time when hardly any floral designs were included in Marimekko’s collections. Maija Isola, however, was fascinated by the theme of flowers and decided to create an entire range of novel floral prints.

Kivet

Maija Isola, 1956

Maija Isola’s Kivet (stones) design builds on circles cut with scissors. The pattern was most likely inspired by the big rough-edged stones that were manually cleared from the designer’s atelier home’s grounds.
